Kasi Aysola
Kasi Aysola is a dynamic Kuchipudi artist based in the USA, known for his engaging performances and choreography. He had the great fortune to train in Kuchipudi under Kalaratna Guru Vempati Ravi Shankar and Dr. Yamini Saripalli. As Artistic Director of Prakriti Dance, Kasi creates bold, original works that have toured nationally and brought Indian arts education to schools across the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region for over 10 years. His work has been featured at major venues such as The Kennedy Center, Jacob’s Pillow, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha & World Music Institute, with support from institutions including the Maryland State Arts Council and the National YoungArts Foundation. He is dedicated to expanding the reach of Kuchipudi and guiding future generations.
