Durga Arya-Krüger, with her exuberant movements and soulful expressions, is a true story-teller...she exemplifies the ultimate essence of Indian classical dance Kathak. Smt. Durga Arya was introduced to the Lucknow Gharana of Kathak at a tender age under the tutelage of Smt. Guru Reba Vidyarthi. She later continued her training under Shri Munna Shukla, and blossomed under the guidance of the legendary Kathak Mestro Pandit Birju Maharaj. After completion of her training under the maestro in New Delhi, India, she toured the world with him and his dance troupe. She has collected many accolades all over the world through her enthralling performances in India, Germany, France, Italy, UK, Russia, and the USA.
