About The Event
Upahaar School of Dance celebrates its 22nd anniversary with a student showcase spread over two days - November 15th and 16th 2025. Come and share in the celebration and watch students of all ages performing Indian classical dance and music.
The concept for this event is based on seasons and festivals - spring, summer, monsoon, autumn and winter and the associated festivals! The six centres will showcase performances in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kathak, Carnatic vocal and Mridangam.
Day 1 - November 15th will showcase the students of Sutton, Crawley and Twickenham.
Day 2 - November 16th will showcase students of Orpington, South Croydon and East Croydon.
The performances will be accompanied by live music in Bharatanatyam and there will also be some interactive percussion and konnakol inteludes on both days.
